Today’s episode features Dr. Ronnie Yearwood who currently lectures in law at the University of the West Indies Cavehill Hill Campus. He is a former lecturer at Durham University. Due to his extensive background in political science and politics, Dr. Yearwood describes himself as an accidental lawyer. His experience working in the Prime Minister’s Office (in Barbados) on issues related to the Caribbean Single Market and Economy (CSME) prompted him to develop an understanding of the legal framework. Dr. Yearwood shares his journey into the legal profession with us and offers advice for law students regarding the development of critical analytical mindsets.
