Life Law Bim – Surviving the Bar Course & Obtaining Pupillage

Today’s episode features Elena Johnson. She was the past publicity officer of the Association of Gray’s Inn Students (AGIS) and podcast host of Raising the Bar 2019-2020. Elena is a Gray’s Inn Residential Scholar and Edmund Davies scholar. She shares the benefits of these scholarships as well as helpful tips on drafting successful scholarship applications. Given that Elena has recently completed the Bar Course she also shares helpful tips to succeed while pursuing the Bar Course. She emphasises the importance of well-being especially when coping with the demanding nature of the Course, pupillage applications and many other priorities. Elena also provides useful information necessary for preparing to undertake the centralised Bar Standards Board examinations.
